“Why doesn't the time display (clock) stay on all the time?”

• I have the same problem and it's annoying. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the Display turns off to save energy. You have to touch any button to reactivate the display. This is the only microwave I have ever had where the Clock turns off.

• no-- factory preset as an energy saver operation after 5 minutes of non activity, touch any button to exit standby mode and reactivate display.
