Can I turn off the beep sound? null

no, it is a safety feature to alert you mostly, as you my forget an item is ready for use

You can turn ALL beep-sounds ON or OFF. Know that it has an auto-beeping feature where if you don't open the microwave door after it has heated the food, it beeps every ~30 seconds. That can get quite annoying when your multi-tasking and have this constant beeping going on until you can get to the microwave. And there is no option to turn the "reminder" feature off -- You would think this would be something that the user could disable independent of other beep-sounds, but the only option is to turn ALL sound on or off...so that's what we did, we turned off all sound. It took some time getting used to having a microwave that doesn't beep when you press a button when setting the time to heat food.
