• Yes, 2 setting light switch - low and normal. You can probably switch out the bulb if you need even more light.... Normal setting is quite bright enough for me....

• The cooktop light is a 30 watt appliance bulb.. The light can be set for o high or low. ^Daphane

• No it is not very bright and it gets very hot.
