We are adding a backsplash on the wall behind the range and under the OTR microwave.. I want to be prepared when we will have to replace OTR microwave. Do we need to leave any space under the microwave or can we tile to bottom of microwave? null

Answer

Not knowing how much space you have under your current microwave I'm not sure. There is some space between the range I have and the microwave. Making a difference would also be whether your range is a built in.
