“I cant connect my TV to my sound bar. The optical cable that came with the sound bar, my tv does not have the place to plug it in. Is there an adapter that i can use or some other way to connect it?”

If your TV has bluetooth it will work too. No hdmi on this soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will have to get a converter that converts a Y connector out of the ear phone deal on the TV on one side and the toslink on the other to the soundbar... Its not a real big deal and can be ordered from Bestbuy....
