• there are volume buttons on the soundbar...volume buttons on the remote...and you can control the volume and mute with you cable remote. Just be sure to change the speaker settings in your TV to "external speakers". You can also control the volume on your phone when it's hooked up with bluetooth. If you have your phone connected through bluetooth, and you turn down the volume with another remote, it will show the volume being turned down on your phone as well.

• yes, but you can also use your remote from you tv or cable..

• No the buttons are pretty easy to use only if you touched it slowly it will turn down or up work perfect
