“when the doors open how do the hinges work? Do they turn inward and the door is flush with the side of the fridge or do they turn outward (like a French door fridge) and they stick out a few inches past the side of the fridge?”

Side-by-Side InstaView Door-in-Door Counter-Depth Smart Wi-Fi Refrigerator, Model # LSXC22396D has a width of 35 7/8" with the doors closed and when the doors are opened 90˚, it has a width of 44 5/16" (includes handles). One half of the door hinge is attached to the door and the other to the refrigerators cabinet. The hinges turn outward like those on our French door refrigerators...^IFV
