A:AnswerHi, A brightness of 200 cd/m² means that the object is emitting light at a level of 200 candelas per square meter. This is a measure of how bright an object appears to the human eye. 250 cd/m2 is a typical brightness and enough for most conditions. You might need to use curtains or blinds in rooms with large windows.^Vanessa
A:AnswerThe LG representative on the Best Buy website did not answer my question of:
"Does this LG Monitor use a true 8-Bit Panel or does this LG Monitor use a Panel based on "6-Bit plus FRC" technology?"
I have found the answer, though.
The reason why LG dodged this question is because this monitor uses the inferior "6-Bit plus FRC" technology rather than the higher quality "True 8-Bit" technology.
A:AnswerThat's okay. I bought the Acer monitor instead, because Acer offers a 3-Year Warranty. I realize I can spend a lot of money buying an "Extended Warranty" with the LG product, but that is money I don't need to spend at all if I buy other brands such as Acer. Rather than spending the money on an "Extended Warranty," I can use that money to buy a better monitor.
