How fast is the ice maker. null

Very fast, however I constantly dump into the ice bin that came with refrig so I always have adequate ice on hand

The icemaker has 2 modes, normal & ice plus. The plus mode is supposed to make ice more often so as it fills, you can save the ice in the provided container in the freezer drawer. I couldn't say for sure how many times it cycles & makes ice in an hour but the holder on the door is always full, (in the morning) at least. The holder is deceiving but holds a good amount. Bottom line: Do I wish it was bigger & made more ice? Yes. But compared to my last 15 year old side by side, it doesn't take up a whole section of the freezer to store ice.
