Can it be placed in garage in north east USA null

You can place any fridge in a garage in the north. Im from the Midwest. In the dead of winter we just unplug them and let mother nature keep it cool.

This model needs to be installed in areas between 55 °F (13 °C)and 110 °F (43°C ).

I've checked this out as well, No, because the surrounding temps must be above freezing for it to work correctly. Seems counter intuitive but that's what they say.
