Yes, the ice maker can be removed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had no need for the ice maker as I have no way to get a water line to it. My son-in-law said it is possible to unplug it. Haven't done it yet as I use the ice bucket to put ice in and it fills that space below the ice maker.
