The doors do not open flush. The hinges each need about an inch for the doors to be able to open.

My fridge in in a space about 34” wide, but It’s positioned next to a doorframe which gives the door plenty of room to swing open. Otherwise, I don’t think I’d be able to use it.

doors when open straight toward user take another inch on both sides to open at a 90 degree. either pull refrigerator out more toward the center floor or go with a 30 inch, or different configuration. Look into a different brand than LG, their linear compressors are BAD news. just google LG class action and talk to BBB, with over 5000 complaints active
