Like other LG Smart TVs, the LG 24” Class LED HD Smart TV with webOS (2022), Model # 24LQ520S-PU, features built-in Timer On and Timer Off capabilities that allow you to automatically schedule the unit to power on or power off at specific times, as well as set custom sleep countdowns. With the Power On / Off Timers, you can schedule the TV to turn on or off automatically at a specific time of day. To set this up, navigate to Settings > General > System Manager> Time (or Timers) With the Sleep Timer, you can program the TV to shut off after a preset duration (e.g., 10 to 240 minutes), and you can access this feature by going to Settings > General > System Manager > Sleep Timer. The Auto Sleep / Auto Power Off feature will automatically shut the TV off after a designated period of inactivity to conserve energy (typically after 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours without user input). The internal clock must be set correctly for the scheduled Timer On and Timer Off features to work. Because these functions depend on the actual time of day, an incorrect clock will cause the TV to turn on or off at the wrong time. These require the exact current time, date, and time zone to be set. If the TV loses power or is disconnected from the internet, the clock may reset, causing scheduled timers to fail. Under the TV's Time settings, you can check Set Automatically. If the TV is connected to the internet or an antenna, it will automatically pull the correct local time...^Ivan.
