Some DVD Players have an HDMI output and some have a component video output (Red/Green/Blue) with the associated RCA audio ports (Red/White) while some have a Composite AV output (Red/White/Yellow). Under the main image for the TV on its product information on the Best Buy site are some thumbnail images. If you click on the fifth thumbnail image from the left, you can enlarge the image to view the connections on the back of the TV. You will see what is referred to as a Shared Composite/Component Video port and the associated RCA Audio ports. The way the shared input works is that the TV's video input circuitry has been modified so that both a composite and component video source connection (and associated analog audio input) can be accommodated. However, there is a catch — with this type of "shared" configuration, you can't plug in both a composite and component video signal source (with associated analog stereo audio) to the TV at the same time. To the right of those ports, you will also see an F-Type, 75-Ohm Coaxial Connector labeled "Antenna/Cable In". That connector is used to plug an indoor or outdoor antenna...^IFV
