The LG 24 Inch Class HD Smart TV (23.6'' Diag), Model # 24LM520S-WU has what is referred to as a Shared Composite/Component video port with its associated RCA stereo audio ports. Composite ports are color coded as Red/White/Yellow. The Red and White ports are for stereo audio and the Yellow is the Composite video port. Component ports are color coded Red//Blue/Green for the component video signal. The way that the shared input works is that the TV's video input circuitry has been modified so that both a composite and component video source connection (and associated analog audio input) can be accommodated. If you click on the fifth thumbnail image from the left under the main image on Best Buy's product page for the TV, you can view the Shared Composite/Component video port. The connection you mentioned that has three different colors is more likely the Composite cable that is color coded Red/White/Yellow. To plug it into the Shared Composite/Component port, plug the Yellow into the Half Yellow/Half Green port on the TV and then plug the White and Red into the corresponding White and Red ports labeled Audio L/R...^IFV
