“When I turn my tv on it goes immediately to Live TV and static. I cannot get any live channels. I would rather remove this if I cannot get live tv. I have Hulu Live but it takes a minute to get to the home screen and select Hulu, so I have noisy static?”

• Just discussed with LG support yesterday. Hit top right button on remote (looks like a power plug), select all inputs and choose something like HDMI1 or an input that isn’t being used. That will bypass the factory setting.
