HDMI for most of the newer Xfinity Comcast boxes. The older Xfinity boxes (not HD) used just a round tv cable.

Hello Judy. That will depend on what connections you have on your Xfinity cable Set-Top box. The LG 24 Inch Class HD Smart TV (23.6'' Diag), Model # 24LM520S-WU has 2 x HDMI inputs and an F-Type, 75-Ohm, Coaxial connector labeled 'Antenna/Cable In' which are the two ports used to connect to cable Set-Top boxes.
