“I just bought it and the box did not include HDMI cable. It does have only a DP cable. Is this normal? Need a HDMI connection to work with laptop. The package list, however, mentions a HDMI cable along with other parts - stand, power cable etc.”

Mine came the same way but as I already have 2 HDMI 2.1 cables awaiting buying a 4k120 monitor for ps5 I wasn't concerned it didn't come with one like it stated. If you do buy your own, if recommend to look for ones that say 8k as the cable will be more future proof or last longer before needing to upgrade it
