So basically it sounds like LG doesn’t want to admit it’s made in China...

Hi MHL. Regrettably, the Country of Origin for the LG 24'' Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor with AMD FreeSync (23.8'' Diagonal), Model # 24ML44B-B is not listed in the products specifications nor in it's owner's manual. The carton that the monitor is shipped be in will have the Country of Manufacture/Country of Assembly stamped on it and the monitor will have a nameplate on the back that identifies Date of Manufacture, Serial Number, Model Number, Electrical Requirements and Country of Manufacture/Country of Assembly...^IFV
