This all depends on the year/model of the Mac Book: If your Mac Book supports HDMI just use the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor. You can use an adapter such as "Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter" to get the job done. You will still need that HDMI cable that comes with the monitor. If it uses Thunderbolt 2 there are adapters for this "Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI". I will attach a few images.
