Cahark, I have this fridge. I'm pretty sure that WiFi is built in to all LG fridges above a certain price point. But you don't have to use it. You can simply leave WiFi off. If you're concerned about privacy, keep in mind that the WiFi feature requires entering your router's password on the LG app. So I believe there's minimal privacy risk if you don't enable WiFi. If you're concerned about price, the WiFi feature probably adds about $10 to the cost of the fridge. It wouldn't make sense for LG, or a retailer, to stock WiFi and non-WiFi variants of each fridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All similar models are Smart Wi-Fi Enabled. You do not have to enable Wi-Fi in order to use the unit. Without Wi-Fi enabled you will not be able to utilize smart features associated with the LG Thin application. Please visit https://www.lg.com/us/french-door-refrigerators to browse available options. You can filter the results for your specific wants and needs. Thank you. ^Daphane
