I read our manual on our new fridge & searched google & can’t find the answer. We can’t find a way to turn the door alarm off. On our front panel we don’t have anything that states alarm, it just states lock. We tried that & it still beeps. LSXS26366S null

The Door Alarm function for the LG Door-in-Door 26.0 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel, Model # LSXS26366S is designed to prevent refrigerator malfunctioning that could occur if a refrigerator door remains open. If a refrigerator door is left open for more than 60 seconds, a warning alarm sounds at 30 second intervals. When power is connected to the refrigerator, the door alarm is initially set to ON. When you press the Door Alarm button, the display will change to OFF and the Door Alarm function will deactivate. Try pressing the Lock button to see if that deactivates the door alarm without activating the Lock function which has to be held down for 3 seconds to activate it. IT that doesn't work, please contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 for assistance...^IFV
