It is not a screen. It is smoked glass that when tapped twice lights up to let you see inside without opening the door.

No this is not a screen. This is just a window to preview what is inside.

The screen is a window and not a tablet. You can knock on it to have the lights turn on and preserve energy while you take stock of what’s in the fridge.
