• The stand is roughly 16" X 9" (40cm X 23cm). Sorry I can't help you with your input question.

• I don't use the monitor stand, I took it off. So I don't have the dimensions for the base. But, the monitor does have 2 HDMI ports on the back of the monitor. So you can switch between the two ports. But the computer connected to the monitor can't do the switch. You will have to do it manually by using the monitor control button on the bottom of the display and switch the input to the other HDMI port.
