“I've had this monitor for a little over a year now without many problems, and I was sure that it is a 60 Hz refresh rate. When I look at the display settings, however, its tells me that the monitor is maxed out to 30 Hz. How do I fix this?”

The HDMI 1 on the back only supports up to 30 Hz, but if you simply unplug and move it down to the HDMI 2 output just below it, that one *does* have 60Hz.

If your Display setting is showing it being maxed out at 30Hz then you have to change the refresh rate for your GPU to 60Hz in the Display Settings...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One of two things are casing this issue. Either you're using a HDMI 1.4 and not 2.0 cable. (HDMI 1.4 had a max 4k refresh rate of 30hz) or the device you're using only have a HDMI 1.4 output max. Example being that my laptop has a HDMI 1.4 port so I max out at 30hz compared to my desktop computer that that had HDMI 2.0b which supports the full 60hz plus HDR. Side note that the white HDMI cable that came with this is HDMI 2.0. So if you're using the provided cable then most likely your devices HDMI out port is limited to 1.4 standard.
