“Installing this sound bar in an RV, manual buttons will not be accessible, will this be an issue? Do I need access to the manual buttons? Also, are they mechanical or heat sensitive type buttons?”

These are heat sensitive type not mechanical on the top of the bar. It does come with a remote tho, and if you are using ARC Input you should be able to control the volume with your other remote as long as the other device supports it......although if you plan on using the works with Google part of this or Bluetooth I would shy away from it as they are flaky on this unit.
