No. They aren’t. I spent two hours trying to connect the ones I was sold by a Bestbuy salesman who sold me the two of them together. Why would LG make speakers that aren’t compatible with each other.

First hit the pair button on the back of the rear speaker's receiver. Then turn on your surround sound setting with your soundbar remote.
