Hi Summer. We are not sure what 1826p is, but resolution is the measure of pixels in an image. ... So 720p is actually a 1280 x 720 resolution (a total of 921,600 pixels), while 1080p is 1920 x 1080, (a total of 2,073,600 pixels) and so on. 4K is a bit different- if it still followed the height rule, it would be called 2160p (i.e 3840 x 2160 for a total of 8,294,400 pixels). (Many still call it that, since it's accurate and follows the standard.) 2160p is an alternative name for 4K UHD, a resolution supported by UHDTV products and which offers four times the definition of 1080p. In general, the higher the resolution of a TV, the sharper the picture. The letter "p" stands for progressive scan or non-interlaced. Progressive scan is one of two methods used for "painting" an image on a television screen (the other being interlaced scan), where the lines are drawn in one at a time in sequential order. Progressive Scanning takes place through scanning all frame promptly. In progressive scan, the displaying video speed is quicker than interlaced scan. In progressive scan, the video quality is superior than interlaced scan and there is not present combing effect in progressive scan.
