A:Answer HDR = High Dynamic Range. It's a greater dynamic range than you'd find on a traditional television. For both LCD and OLED, this means brighter highlights. A lot brighter. It varies per TV of course, but an HDR TV's highlights (the bright parts of the image), could be 5 times as bright as a non-HDR TV.
