We would want both water and ice. Can both an ice maker as well as the existing internal water dispenser be used in this fridge? Where would the ice maker be located with the filter being where it is shown? null

I own this fridge and that last answer is incorrect. The water dispenser is already installed when fridge is purchased. There is, however, a separate ice maker that supposedly can be installed in the freezer. I say supposedly b/c I never had a need for it so never looked into it, but if you look under manufacturer’s section it’s listed there for an additional $150.

Yes, you can use both the water dispenser and the ice maker simultaneously. The ice maker goes in the freezer compartment. I don’t know if the filter works for both the water dispenser and the ice maker.
