Sometimes you may have both issues at the same time, while other times only one may be the cause. When your refrigerator door opens by itself, the two main causes are a faulty door gasket or your refrigerator is off-level. If is off-level, you may just need to level the refrigerator properly. Sometimes when a door won't close or seems to pop open on its own, the problem is a dirty seal. In a bowl, mix warm water with a drop of dishwashing liquid. Dip an old toothbrush into the mixture and use it to scrub the gasket. Be sure to get the grime on every side of the seal.
Alternatively, your refrigerator doesn’t need to be sloping for the seal to fail. The door gasket, or the plastic seal around the outer edge, helps keep cold air in and warm air out. The lowest drawer (called "Glide'N'Serve" in the LG manual) on the LG model LRDCS2603D is not tall enough for roasts or a whole chicken. The larger drawers (Humidity Controlled Crispers) are not suitable for meat storage as they have weep holes in the bottom and any juices drip into the bottom drawer.
