A:AnswerWe loved it until the ice maker quit in exactlyb60 days. We have been battling to get a resolution for 26 days. LG has really poor customer service. The repair companies they use for warantee sercice halso have very bad reviews and they are not local so they cancel appointments and have no shows, etc. Best Buy does not stand behind what they sell to their customers.
A:AnswerOurs did the same thing. We could not drink the water. As a last stitch effort we changer the water line hookup and it was fixed! Not sure what was wrong with it since it was new and didn’t really think it would work since changing the filter didn’t work but it did.
A:AnswerI've had the issue & it's the beginning of the end for that ice maker.
Call for service & they will replace it. According to repairman the craft ice makers break all the time & they just keep replacing them!
A:Answerper Best Buy Geek Squad technician who came to repair our LG side by side refrigerator freezer the craft ice maker breaks down often. Tech replaced the whole unit. Extra warranty protection is worth it as they do not make appliances how they used to :(
