The minimum cutout width for the LG 36" Built-In Electric Smart Cooktop with 5 Elements, Backlit SmoothTouch® Glass Controls and 3.6kW Triple Element - Black, Model # CBEW3617BE, is 33 7/8" (860 mm), the maximum is 33 15/16" (863 mm, the minimum depth is 19 1/8" (486 mm), and the maximum is 19 3/16" (488 mm). The Distance from the bottom of the upper plate to the bottom of the conduit and terminal block enclosure is 3 7/8" (98 mm), the Distance from the bottom of the upper plate to the bottom of the cooktop base is 2 7/16" (61 mm). The Height of the conduit and terminal block enclosure is 1 7/16" (37 mm). The distance from the side edge of the cutout to the side of the counter is 1 1/8" (28 mm), the Depth of the bottom cabinets is 23 3/8" (593 mm), the distance from the front of the counter to the front edge of the cutout is 2 3/16" (55 mm). The distance from the rear edge of the cutout to the nearest combustible surface is 2 1/16" (52 mm).
