I recently purchased this LG refrigerator model number LRYXC2606S. We have a whole home water filter, if I want to use the water/ice maker without a water filter does this model need a Refrigerator Water Filter Bypass Plug or does it have an auto bypass? null

Thank you for your interest in the LG French Door Refrigerator (LRYXC2606S) model. The LG LRYXC2606S refrigerator does not require a Refrigerator Water Filter Bypass Plug. Unlike older LG refrigerators that required a bypass filter, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG refrigerators, including the LRYXC2606S, do not come with a bypass filter because they all have an auto bypass feature.
