“Will this be compatible with a dishnet satellite receiver? My current surround sound works fine with dishnet, but is horrible with prime video, Netflix, will a new system stream sound better?”

This sound bar has 3.5mm audio, Auxiliary, and Digital optical Inputs, if your reciever has any of these outputs it should be compatable. You can also run the output from your tv directly to this soundbar.
