I'm a machinist using SolidWorks/SolidCAM and could care less about super accurate colors so long as blue looks blue...etc. I'm sure this TV would work just fine if your looking for a large higher resolution screen for more workspace "real estate".

Please try again later.absolutely not you can hook it up to a computer to watch videos but if you are talking about CAD or adobe and want the colors on your TV similar to the colors of a printer and be accurate absolutely do not get this TV and get a real computer monitor with sRGB 99%
