Ya I noticed it too. I don't think that will go away. It doesn't bother me at all compared to the multiple dead pixel area on my old tv. Another thing I've noticed is this tv doesn't seem to get very bright as my other tv or maybe it's my imagination. Other than that it's pretty decent tv lol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have an answer to this but I just ordered this tv and waiting for delivery, and this white cloud effect does concern me. I was wondering if the 6300 model, which some have said is basically the same, also has this issue? Without having seen it, I don't know if it will really be a problem, so for anyone who has this tv, any comment would be appreciated. Also wondering if the Web OS is the same for this tv and the 6300 model. I might be inclined to return the 6200 and get the 6300 if it's a better tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This phenomenon is called backlight bleed. It is fairly common on all but the most expensive TVs. Once an image is on screen it won't be an issue. It is not defective.

Don't accept that screen looking like that in the corners or anywhere else on your television. Even for the price, you still shouldn't just settle for a television that isn't 100% satisfaction. If you can return it for the defect, do so. Also, one person answered you about the screen being darker. It's probably just the television is set to auto or energy saver. Just click that to off. Otherwise, it will dim on it's on at the most inopportune time. It will keep getting darker. But, that's how you take care of that. If that doesn't change, something is wrong. Don't settle for less, just because you think it's too much hassle to deal with. Companies count on people feeling that way, and they get away with giving out defective products at a cheap price, so you'll be more apt to "let it go." They want you to feel that way, until it's too late to return it. You shouldn't be charged best buy's ridiculous restocking fee either. You wouldn't be turning the television in because you don't want it, but because it is defective. Get what you want! Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I called LG and they couldn't give me an answer about this but from searching online for an answer I think it may just be the way the back light shows up for this tv. All lcd and led tv's have back lighting and it can sometimes be more in the center of the screen or at the edges. I believe this is what the white cloud is. I haven't researched it to find out how it compares with other tv brands.
