“When I press the CC/subtitles button on the remote, it's doesn't come on the TV screen. When I access the settings menu and select CC/subtitles on, the subtitles still don't appear on the TV screen. I'm watching programming from Netflix. What's wrong?”

Netflix has its own CC option. I use this rather than the TV's option. Just pause the program, press arrow up and enter. Then you pick CC options.
