“I recently purchased this TV. When there is a local weather alert, the TV voice keeps repeating the alert from our local network. Is there a way to disable this feature so we can continue to watch TV without the constant voice-over?”

• Actually, we had to turn off the SAP to get this to stop. To be clear, this is a local network weather advisory that is on one or two stations. This issue is not related to National Weather advisories, nationwide Amber alerts or the monthly testing. It is strictly associated with local programming and as long as the alert is at the bottom of the screen, there is a robotic female voice that continuously repeats the alert which interrupts the programming.
