Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use the Button with the House on it The HOME button. There are many options one of the options is to not use the app startup screen for home instead choose Live TV. Also make sure your fully complete setup including setting up an LG Account this allows you to get into the main menus easily and request technical remote access help help with your LG TV. The 43UQ7590 4K UHD uses LG WebOS once you start working with it like an app it gets a lot easier Hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go to settings then I think it’s under accessibility find smart screen start up options and shut them off that will make your tv come right onto cable . You have to shut off the smart screen options. If you can’t find it then pull up a video on how to do it on YouTube
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You want "Live TV", so use the top right corner button on your LG remote. Push it until it highlights "Live TV" in the box on the lower left part of your TV screen. That box will go away on its own. If you don't want to wait for it to go away, push the return button (below the White buttons on your remote, under the "back" arrow).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you push the button @ the top right of your LG remote, a little box will come up on the lower left corner of your tv screen. If your picture doesn't show "Live TV", push that upper right remote button again until it highlights the "Live TV" section. After that, your tv should go to your "live tv" channels (like networks you know) every time. After a few moments, the box on your screen will go off, but if it bothers you, just push the "return" button (below the White buttons on your remote, under the left arrow). Best of luck to you!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have U-Verse and was having the same problem. I use the U-Verse remote to turn the cable box and TV at the same time. It was starting in the streaming APPS instead of HDMI 1. I pressed the button with the little house on the LG REMOTE and it switched to HDMI 1. It now starts up in HDMI 1 (U-Verse) when ever I turn on the TV with the U-Verse remote.
