When the TV is turned on does it always load the Home screen ?As I use Dish and when I turn on tv/dish I would expect that to come on without having to go through Home Apps stuff ?I did see someone asked a similar question but there is no real answer TIA null

Assuming that you want it to default to an HDMI port, go to settings on the upper right of the screen, All settings/general/system/additional settings and turn the toggle on "home auto launch" to off. This now starts on HDMI 1 for my TV.
