• you need to tilt it about 1 inch. The first installation I forgot to tilt it. The water leaking in the house from the front. There is a little screw hole at the front that can leaks water in. The next day I took it out and tilt it. No leaking after.

• This unit is equipped with a Slinger fan that has an outer ring that runs in the condensate that collects in the base pan if it gets deep. That condensate is then picked up by the fan and expelled through the condenser. ^CP
