“Can someone with this LG 10k unit please measure its exact main body height (without brackets)? (I need it to slide fit into a 15 1/4" high opening)”

Thanks for the info. In my case, the tall aluminum-framed window has a swing-out awning glass panel in the bottom section. I can easily remove this awning. This will then produce a framed window hole of exactly: 32 1/4" W x 15 1/4" H (across the frame extrusions) Will this AC unit physically fit through that hole (from the inside) -- Is the unit no more than 15" high on it's chassis (without its brackets) ?

Hi there, Gelman. Nice question. The 10,000 BTU Smart wi-fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner (LW1017ERSM) has the height of 15". When installing, the top and bottom window sashes must open sufficiently to allow a clear vertical opening of 16” from the bottom of the upper sash to the inside sill. ^Jolly
