“Is this an active or passive soundbar.That is, does it have built in amplification”

• Daphane, why do you call the SP7Y soundbar passive? It has to be plugged in to 110v electric wall socket to power its built in amplifier, which makes it active.

• 440 total watts of amplification. It plugs into the wall. The sub does too. They're both "built in".
