“I have the playstation hooked up using hdmi and the image is perfect and clear for games but when I switch to hulu or netflix the image turns dark, how do I fix this?”

In order to get better picture from movies on hulu or Netflix you can access those accounts online, and set them to HD, they should already be set , if they dont Then you would have to manually set it. Also there are settings in the playstation 3 and playstation 4 that have full HD video ps3, and 4K upscaling (ps 4 or ps4 pro) . you would access the settings on either one of those consoles and go to video settings and adjust the settings , for video , this would give you access to set the video quality and you'll get a better picture.. Always remember there are certain types of video display when you set how you want your picture quality on the console.. If your TV does not contain HDR then you would take off the RGB video turn it off, this will brighten the picture of what u r watching.. or simple set it to auto matic... you should get a better picture after that..
