Check the mounts being sold at your electronics store. They should state on the box that they are for the size of TV you purchased, i.e. 30-50inch would fit a 50 inch tv comfortably. Make sure that the mounting is drilled into the wall into a stud instead of the sheetrock, and you can find stud finders at any local hardware store like Lowes etc for about $20.00. If you anchor only into the sheetrock, it may pull out and crash to the floor. Also be sure the mount will fit the mounting holes on back of tv. I used a multiposition mount that could be adjusted both up and down as well as swing out side to side, as it was being used in our bedroom and wife wanted to watch from her side chair while knitting in our huge MBR.
