“on LG 50 or 55 inch tvs. Can you shut off the smart tv functions when you are first setting it up I want 2 run the tv & cable remote only I do not want to see the apps. I only want to see the spectrum cable menu is it under settings.”

You can disable the Home Screen auto-launch in the Settings menu for the LG Smart webOS TV here: Settings > General > Home Settings > Home Auto Launch > On/Off. ~Rita
