VESA Compliance guarantees that any VESA Compliant Wall Mount, Table Top TV STand or any other type of Mount that supports the pattern on the TV is guaranteed to work with the TV. In the case of universal mounts, be they Wall Mounts or Table Top TV Stands, they give you a size range as in 32 to 60 inch TVs rather than a VESA pattern because a universal mount will accommodate a variety of Wall Mount Interface Pattern.
