No you cannot install HBO GO or HBO NOW App, or Cinemax App. I was setting up for my parents after buying for them. I was trying to shed some of the extra sticks / roku boxes and get a smart TV to make it easier for them they are 75. Had no idea when I bought that you could not have the HBO app on this or any other LG TV. I will be refunding it to get a Samsung instead. Also the menu system and magic remote, no thanks.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, however, since HBO does not utilize a platform that is compatible with LG Smart TVs, there is not an app available. You would need to connect a streaming device to the TV that is compatible with HBO in order to view that content.
