Can you use headphones with this tv without it disconnecting the sound so other people in the room can hear the tv? My father in law is hard of hearing. He currently uses headphones with the volume all the way up. null

You can use the optical output and choose optical+internal audio. You will need optical to 3.5 mm adapter, Bluetooth trasmiter and Bluetooth headphones or wire headphones

You are not able to use both the internal speakers as well as a headset at the same time. The 55UK6090PUA is also not able to connect to headphones as it does not have bluetooth or a headphone jack. ^CP
